- Capitol Bistro. Bar. Patisserie – Interior Design – Eating Space: Restaurant – Brasserie – Winner
- Singapore Airlines Perth SilverKris Lounge – Interior Design – Eating Space – Honorable Mention
For their user-oriented and experience-focused designs, Capitol Bistro. Bar. Patisserie and Singapore Airlines Perth SilverKris Lounge have been recognised by the LIV Hospitality Design Awards in the Interior Design category. These recognitions are a testament to the practice’s commitment to designing well-defined spaces that sensitively respond to their contexts and speak to the needs of those who use it.
Capitol Bistro. Bar. Patisserie is a winner in the Restaurant – Brasserie category, extending Singapore’s ‘City in Nature’ narrative to a space anchored in the heritage setting of The Capitol Kempinski Hotel. Re-envisioned as a tropical oasis, the restaurant harnesses generous daylighting and spatial volume to deliver a holistic dining experience while creating a visually porous and biophilic environment. Three distinct zones – bistro, bar and patisserie – are thoughtfully integrated into the spatial layout, designed for smooth movement and maximum interaction among its patrons.
Bridging Singapore hospitality with contextually grounded design, Singapore Airlines Perth SilverKris Lounge is commended with an Honorable Mention in the Interior Design category. Designed with guests’ wellbeing and comfort in mind, the interior scheme incorporates enhanced amenities – such as a bar with barista and shower facilities – within an open-concept lounge with adaptable zoning areas while addressing accessibility and safety. Contextualising the lounge within its location in Perth, the design features distinctive batik motifs and native timber that celebrate the cultures of both countries, interweaving elements iconic to Singapore with materials locally-sourced from Australia.
