Beyond the conventional expectation of luxurious amenities, the traveller of today—almost certain to be tech-savvy and eco-conscious—equates efficiency and accessibility to comfort, relaxation and an improved overall wellbeing. To this end, convenience, sustainability and function are key goals driving YOTEL Singapore’s design.
Navigating spatial constraints in a confined, high-density urbanscape by manipulating visual perspective, the design plays with volumetric height to create space and depth. Smart features such as ‘Tech Wall’, automatic adaptable bed, fully-automated self-check-ins and robot butlers are also incorporated into the design to maximise luxury and function while offering optimum comfort for guests.
Besides technological innovation and digital connectivity, YOTEL Singapore provides space for easy offline interaction through open co-living spaces geared towards enhancing a sense of community. Dining facilities blend and overlap with pool and gym areas to create opportunities for informal work meetings and social gatherings, blurring the spatial boundaries between work and play.
Embracing the wellness philosophy in the design of hospitality spaces, YOTEL Singapore represents a modern approach to evolving needs and demands while keeping up with technological trends, optimising the travel experience of the contemporary traveller.
