Hospitality and wellbeing intersect in this beautifully curated workplace. Inspired by the intimate courtyards of the traditional Chinese gardens, our design scheme introduced elements and materials that evoke the quiet elegance and tranquility synonymous with the gardens while programming space for collaboration and conversation.

Distinct to the interior design is the use of fabric throughout the workspace. Flowing, refined marquee fabric arches gracefully frame the courtyards and corridors, emphasising fluidity and soft, continuous lines. Started as a simple hand sketch of an overhanging landscape, the fabric’s graphic is a continuous sequence that was created for printing on chiffon fabric. These arches, together with the courtyards, not only define individual spaces but also act as welcoming thresholds, evoking a sense of movement and mystery reminiscent of meandering natural landscapes.

The courtyards are strategically positioned to ensure that each suite or office maintains a constant connection to the landscape, whether through direct external views or internal garden elements. Viewed from within, the courtyards create an illusion of expanded space, their proximity visually doubling the perceived area.

The suites are designed to resemble familiar home spaces, such as living and dining rooms. This approach fosters a sense of comfort and homeliness while maintaining their function as communal gathering areas. Designs are intentionally kept minimalistic, allowing users to personalise the space. The layout caters to diverse needs, offering a cohesive, holistic environment.
