Envisioned as an urban piazza, the design concept of Asia Green’s reception space aims to create a delightful communal square that goes beyond a typical transitory space from the outside. The juxtaposition of wood paneling and fluid forms imbues the lobby and reception front with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Feature mood lighting adds further softness to the space. To further elevate the design vision, rich greenery and furniture selections that mimics the monolithic form and tone of rocks are layered onto the canvas; effectively, transforming this built environment into a delightful node of urbaNature.
Strategic furniture clusters help create clear zones within the 300sqm lobby space. This enables intuitive wayfinding and comfortable separation of activities, thereby, delivering an equally delightful space for the varied groups of end-users. In this manner, the reception shifts from the utilitarian to the social; inviting visitors to pause, dwell and engage with each other and the environment.
Being sustainable, the volumetric advantage of its interior amalgamates the biophilic elements and rotary ceiling fans to create anatomical “green lungs”, enhancing the flow of cross ventilation within the lobby space as well as moderating the usage of airflow from the air-conditioning.
