Kyitha Khin

Associate Director

Kyitha began her career in architecture upon graduating from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Environmental Design, before discovering her true passion for interior design, where she remains deeply committed to creating spaces that thoughtfully serve their end-users. Purpose-driven design, she believes, has the power to be transformative, whether it impacts group culture, elevates wellbeing, fosters a sense of belonging, or enhances productivity. Thus anchored, her design approach consistently emphasises user needs while offering adaptable, sustainable, and timeless designs that balance form and function, as well as socio-cultural identity with socio-economic needs.

She has, over the course of her 14-year career in Singapore’s built environment sector, developed a diverse portfolio encompassing various project types, including industrial, residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Notable among them are: Orchard Central, River Safari, Sofitel So at 3 Robinson Road, and the good-class bungalow at 4 Chatsworth Road, which has been featured in publications such as The Straits Times and Home & Décor magazine.

At DP Design, Kyitha focuses on the institutional and workplace typologies, playing a pivotal role in projects including Central Manpower Base, Changi and Tengah Airbases, as well as the new Defence Technology Hub. Her experience with these complex initiatives showcases both her design versatility and ability to effectively manage design challenges across a range of scales and complexities.
